Clamp meters (or Ditze clamps) are instruments that allow measuring alternating current without breaking the circuit in which the measurement is being performed. The instrument obtains the measurement result based on the law of electromagnetic induction. If a current flows through a conductor, a magnetic field is created around the conductor, and if this conductor is enclosed by another conductor, an EMF (Electromotive Force) arises in it. The resulting EMF under certain conditions is proportional to the measured current. Thus, by measuring the voltage on this conductor, it becomes possible to determine the magnitude of the measured current. PROconnect P266C series clamp meters are multifunctional instruments used to measure a variety of parameters. In addition to the main function of measuring alternating current, with the P266C, one can measure DC and AC voltage, resistance, and even temperature. The P266C clamp meters feature a DATA HOLD function for cases where measurements are taken in hard-to-reach places where it is not always possible to look at the screen. The instrument is made of high-quality materials and has an ergonomic design. Engineers have aimed to simplify the device as much as possible, making it easy to operate even with one hand.
