Plastic adhesive Dichloroethane (DCE) 30ml REXANT 09-3967

Plastic repair agent (cold welding) 30 ml REXANT is intended for bonding plastic housing surfaces (acrylic, polystyrene, or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) products), for use in production as a solvent (in paints, varnish removers, polishing agents), as well as for degreasing various materials (dissolves fats, wax, resins, and is included in stain removers). It is a colorless flammable liquid with a sweetish odor (similar to the smell of chloroform) and is practically insoluble in water. Application method: before bonding, a sticky paste must be made from acrylic shavings (from 2 to 3%) or polystyrene (from 8 to 12%) and a small amount of dichloroethane (mixing until a sour cream consistency is reached). Then, apply a thin layer to both degreased surfaces, press them tightly together, and fix. Bonding time is from 30 minutes to 10 hours (depending on the area of the materials being bonded). Precautions: Keep out of reach of children! Poisoning is possible if the substance is ingested, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Perform bonding in a well-ventilated area, away from sources of fire. Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container.
