Blue RJ-45 cap is designed for additional protection of the connection point between the RJ-45 (8P8C) connector and the information cable when constructing telephone and computer networks. It is most commonly used with twisted pair up to 6 mm in diameter. The protective cap protects the cable from bending at the connection point with the connector, and also protects the connector latch from damage, which significantly increases the service life of the finished cord. The cap is made of fire-resistant and elastic polypropylene, which possesses a high level of reliability. The product does not increase the dimensions of the connector, allowing it to be used in information cabinets with high port density. The use of colored caps allows for the identification of specific wires, i.e., it serves as a cable marker.
