The contacts of the command controllers are designed for switching the coils of contactors and relays of direct or alternating current, as well as the control circuits of converters, thyristor controllers and similar devices. Command controllers are multi-circuit devices with a specified contact closing program at certain handle positions. In principle of operation, the command controller is similar to power cam controllers or crane control pendant controllers. Unlike power controllers, the contact system of bridge-type command controllers with silver contacts, the cam drum and two sets of contact elements of six elements per set are assembled into a contact block, which together with bearings and a position lock is an independent product, allowing use in various assembled control devices. This block is placed in an aluminum alloy housing, closed with a cover made of the same alloy. The cam drum drive is operated by the handle.
