• Designed for insulation and sealing of T-junction connection points of end sleeves in gas-insulated switchgear with "C" type threaded bushings complying with CENELEC - EN 50181 or DIN 47636 • Adapters are supplied in a kit including materials for 3 phases • Kit contents: • adapter body (3 pcs.) • end cap (3 pcs.) • threaded stud (3 pcs.) • nut (3 pcs.) • flat and spring washers (3 pcs. each) • silicone grease • cable tie • Resistant to tracking and weather conditions • Adapter insulation is made of thick-walled silicone elastomer • Color: brick red • Operating voltage: up to 20 kV • Maximum current load: 630 A • Adapters are designed for use in conjunction with "KVT" end heat-shrinkable cable sleeves equipped with bolt terminals for single-core and three-core cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation • Adapters can be used together with Raychem end heat-shrinkable sleeves and their analogs • The "KVT" bolt terminal is connected to the bushing with a threaded stud and a nut • The threaded stud in the RIKS kit has one version: M16/M16 • Installation of adapters is only possible on sleeves with terminals having a hole for an M16 threaded stud. For KVT sleeves for cross-sections 70/120 mm2, use 2NB-70/120-16 terminals (sold separately) • A threaded insulating plug is used to seal the back of the adapter • Quick installation and removal with the possibility of reuse • The use of cable adapters allows connecting different types of cables to the same compact switchgear • Adapters allow reducing the phase-to-phase air gap to ensure normal equipment operation • No special tools or flame-related work are required to install the adapter onto a mounted cable end sleeve
