Jumper cables or starter cables, 2.5 m in length, are designed to start a car engine with a discharged battery by supplying starting current to the terminals from another car's battery (or from a spare fully charged battery). They are also used for snowmobiles and motorcycles with a discharged battery. The cables are attached to the terminals using special insulated crocodile-type clamps with a wide opening angle, which ensure reliable contact. The cable length is sufficient to connect two vehicles, even if they are at some distance from each other. Thanks to PVC insulation, the cables are easy to bend and do not lose their elasticity even at a temperature of -20 °C.
