NIKOMAX NMC-RJ88RZ50UD1-100 connectors RJ45/8P8C are designed for terminating single-core and multi-core (patch cord) cables during the production of patch cords, as well as in some cases during the installation of stationary communication cables, for connecting video surveillance cameras, etc. By blade type, connectors are divided into three main types: for terminating multi-core cables (patch cords), for single-core (stationary) cables, and universal, suitable for both types of conductors. Using an incorrect connector type does not guarantee high-quality crimping due to incorrect blade penetration into the cable cores and may lead to loss of contact. To increase the maximum number of reconnections, service life, and protection of copper contacts from oxidation, they are additionally gold-plated. Usually, the coating thickness is 6 or 50 microns, but it can be lower in cheaper price segments. By design, connectors can be with or without inserts. With an insert, it is generally more convenient to arrange the wires, although many installers prefer simpler models with guide grooves without inserts. It is also recommended to use protective caps, which increase the service life of the connector, improve ease of work, and give the crimped cable a finished look.
