Compact contactors with DC control coil for general industrial use, KMIp series, with load current from 9 to 95 A, are designed for use in electric motor control circuits for starting, stopping, and reversing squirrel-cage induction motors, as well as for remote control of lighting circuits, heating circuits, and various low-inductance loads (application category AC-1). All versions have one group of normally open or normally closed auxiliary contacts. The application area of KMIp series compact contactors with DC control coil includes: control of machine tools, pumps, fans, air curtains, furnaces, crane-girders, lighting, in automatic transfer switch (ATS) systems, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, in automatic protection devices, security alarms, in industrial plant control systems, switching of three-phase capacitor banks and primary windings of three-phase low-voltage transformers. In terms of design and technical characteristics, KMIp series compact contactors with DC control coil comply with the requirements of international and Russian standards GOST R 50030.4.1 (IEC60947-4-1).
