KTE EKF PROxima contactors consist of a housing containing fixed contacts and moving contacts, which are fixed in the moving part of the magnetic system. The stationary part of the magnetic system is rigidly fixed in the KTE housing. A spring prevents the contacts from closing. When voltage is applied to the control coil, a magnetic field arises in the contactor's magnetic system, which, overcoming the spring resistance, closes the magnetic system and the contacts. When voltage is removed from the control coil, the spring opens the contacts. The reverse circuit of the KTE EKF PROxima consists of two KTE EKF PROxima contactors mounted on two rails, with a mechanical interlock located between the contactors to prevent simultaneous activation of the two contactors. Contactor terminals are connected by appropriate busbars. The KTE EKF PROxima series was awarded a medal at the "Electro-2008" international exhibition in the category "Best Electrical Equipment". ATTENTION! Before operating the contactor, the following actions must be performed: 1. Remove the device cover. 2. Remove the foam fixators that hold the contacts. 3. Replace the cover, ensuring a tight fit. Before mounting the contactor, the device should be visually inspected to identify possible mechanical damage, such as chips, cracks, or breaks. Vertical and horizontal mounting is permitted.
