Unmanaged optical media converter GL-MC-UTPF-SC1F-18SM-1550 is a GIGALINK brand product that converts the signal transmission medium (twisted pair, coaxial cable, optical fiber) from one type to another. It is installed in a pair with the GL-MC-UTPG-SC1F-18SM-1310 device at different ends of the communication line. The media converter is equipped with SC and RJ-45 type ports with a maximum throughput of up to 100 Mbps. Data transmission is carried out at a distance of up to 20 km with a wavelength of 1550 nm, and reception at 1310 nm. It supports the LFP (Link Fault Passthrough) function, thanks to which the media converter automatically disables signal transmission upon loss of connection from the connected device. The power supply is included in the delivery set. The model has a compact size and high durability due to its metal housing, and its universal appearance makes the media converter suitable for any interior.
