KOS 3 U2 junction box is designed for branching to luminaires with DRL or DRI incandescent lamps up to 2000 W from the main cable without cutting it. The box can be used in subway construction, as well as for connecting other types of single-phase electrical receivers. Main network characteristic: voltage 380/220 and 660/380 V. Branch network characteristic: voltage (phase or line-to-line) 220 and 380 V. Rated current up to 25 A. The box is made of flame-retardant plastic and consists of a housing, a cover, a complete detachable sealing device for the main cable, and a sealing inlet for the branch circuit conductors. It is possible to manufacture boxes in two modifications – with two contacts (KOS-2 U2) and with three contacts (KOS-3 U2). The third contact is intended for mounting the ground wire. UHL3 according to GOST 15150 TU 3464-009-01394633-2005. The established service life of the box is 25 years.
