FIREFORT series of two-component fire-resistant junction boxes is designed for connecting signal, control, and power cables in systems that must maintain functionality during a fire. The airtightness of the housing is achieved by a multi-level system, including sealing membranes for cable entries and a rubber contour seal for a tight lid fit. The device housing has an IP67 rating for protection against dust and moisture and is mounted using standard fasteners. The device ensures the operability of the fire-resistant cable line (FCL) during a fire for up to 120 minutes (according to GOST R 53316) thanks to the use of non-combustible materials: ceramic terminals and a steel contact group. This creates a critical time buffer for human evacuation and fire localization.
