The RTB 402-IS box is a modification of the RTB 402 device. It is designed for indicating the presence of voltage in the heating section based on self-regulating electric heating cables and for connecting heating cables to the power grid. The box is mounted on a building wall, on a nearby metal structure, or on a pipeline using a bracket. The box allows for the connection of one line of self-regulating electric heating cable to the power cable, and two lines if the box is used as an intermediate junction. The housing design provides protection against the penetration of moisture and dust with an IP66 rating and high corrosion resistance. The cable entries of the box are designed for connecting unarmored power cables with a diameter of 7 to 18 mm or armored power cables with a diameter of 12 to 20 mm. The applicable terminal sets allow for the connection of multi-strand or single-strand wires with a cross-section of 1.5 to 10 sq.mm. Screw or spring terminal clamp versions are available for orders. A lamp with an ultra-bright LED signals the presence of voltage at the end of the heating section. The green LED has a long service life, a viewing zone of 180°, including under direct sunlight.
