RTB 405 junction box is designed for connecting constant power electric heating cables of SNF and TMF types to the power grid. The box is mounted directly onto the pipeline. The box allows for the connection of one or two sections of heating cable in a "loop" configuration, or three sections in a "star" configuration. The housing design provides IP66 protection against moisture and dust ingress and high corrosion resistance. The cable entry of the box is designed for connecting unarmored power cables with a diameter from 7 to 18 mm or armored power cables with a diameter from 12 to 20 mm. The terminal sets used allow for the connection of multi-core or single-core wires with a cross-section from 1.5 to 10 sq.mm. Versions of the boxes with screw or spring terminal clamps are available for order.
