The RBV 601-IS box is a modification of the RBV 601 device. It is designed for indicating the presence of voltage on the heating section based on self-regulating electric heating cables, for connecting and branching heating cables, as well as for connection to the power grid. The box allows for the branching of the power cable to create engineering networks. The box comes equipped with an inlet device for thermal insulation and is attached directly to the surface of a pipeline or tank. The box allows for the connection of up to three strands of self-regulating electric heating cable to the power cable for boxes with screw terminal connectors, and up to two strands for boxes with spring terminal connectors. The housing design provides IP66 protection against the penetration of moisture and dust and high corrosion resistance. The cable entry of the box is designed for connecting unarmored power cables with a diameter of 7 to 18 mm or armored power cables with a diameter of 12 to 20 mm. The applicable terminal sets allow for the connection of multi-core or single-core wires with a cross-section of 1.5 to 10 sq.mm. Versions of the boxes with screw or spring terminal clamps are available for order. A signal lamp with an ultra-bright LED indicates the presence of voltage at the end of the heating section. The green LED has a long service life and is visible, including under direct sunlight. The viewing angle of the RBV 601-IS is 180°.
