RTB 403 junction box is designed for connecting electric heating system control cables. The box is equipped with a cable entry for thermal insulation and is mounted directly onto the surface of a pipeline or tank. The box allows for the connection of one or two control cables, connection of up to three temperature sensors, and cable entry for thermal insulation for up to four temperature sensors (one spare). The housing design provides IP66 protection against moisture and dust ingress and high corrosion resistance. The cable entries of the box are designed for connecting unarmored power cables with a diameter of 7 to 18 mm or armored power cables with a diameter of 12 to 20 mm. The applicable terminal sets allow for the connection of stranded or solid wires with a cross-section of 0.5 to 2.5 sq.mm.
