Patch sockets are an integral part of horizontal structured cabling systems and are designed for connecting end equipment at workstations. Structurally, sockets can be made in two versions: as a complete solution with RJ45 ports and IDC connectors soldered into the printed circuit board, and as a plastic housing into which Keystone format patch modules are installed separately. The advantage of simple empty housings is that they can accommodate not only RJ45 modules but also any other modules compatible with the Keystone format, including telephone, optical, and coaxial, in any required configuration. NIKOMAX wall-mount socket housings are a simple and convenient solution for network installation. NMC-MB1P-ST-WT is a 1-port model. The socket data port is equipped with an individual shutter that protects contacts from dust accumulation. The housings feature additional break-out windows allowing cables to be brought in from any side. For ease of administration, all covers have areas for marking and for installing colored icons.
