Thimble for 4 mm rope is used in conjunction with a steel wire rope or rope with a diameter of up to 4 mm when creating loops. The thimble prevents the rope from fraying at the bend points. The thimble material is carbon steel. Coating is electrolytic zinc plating. The coating protects the thimble for 4 mm steel rope from corrosion for a long time. The length of the thimble opening for 4 mm diameter steel rope, indicated by the letter B on the diagram, is 25 mm. The width of the opening, indicated by A, is 16 mm. The groove has a diameter exceeding the diameter of the applied steel rope — 5 mm. 4 mm thimble is manufactured according to DIN 6899 Form B standard.
