MASTECH MS-6818 cable locator is a professional device for locating hidden wiring or cables in walls, allowing to determine locations of breaks and short circuits in hidden wiring, cables, and underfloor heating. Also known as a hidden wiring detector. Functionally similar to the FLUKE 2042 device. Main functions of the device: - Detection of cables, electrical wiring, water and gas supply pipes hidden in walls or ground. - Detection of break locations and short circuits in cables and electrical wiring hidden in walls or ground. - Detection of fuses and determination of electrical circuit routes. - Tracing of sockets and junction boxes accidentally covered with plaster. - Detection of breaks and short circuits in underfloor heating wiring. - Receiver is combined with an AC and DC voltmeter, allowing to measure voltage in the range of 12 to 400 V.
