PROxima mini-contactors consist of a housing, fixed contacts mounted within it, and moving contacts mounted in the moving part of the magnetic system. The stationary part of the magnetic system is rigidly fixed in the mini-contactor housing. A spring prevents the contacts from closing. When voltage is applied to the control coil, a magnetic field is generated in the contactor's magnetic system, which, overcoming the spring resistance, closes the magnetic system and makes the contacts. When voltage is removed from the control coil, the spring opens the contacts. Commutation with aluminum and copper wire is possible.
