The fire extinguishing module is a programmable device. The configuration of inputs and outputs is set by the user from the control panel or via "FireSec" software. The MPT-1-R3 fire extinguishing module provides: control of automatic fire extinguishing devices by commands received via a 2-wire addressable communication line (ALC) from the control panel, as well as manually by signal from the EDU-PT; connection and operation of light and sound alarms; possibility of connecting two alarm loops (AL) with non-addressable fire detectors IP 212-45, IP 212-141M or similar, as well as manual fire detectors IPR 513-10 or similar, to start extinguishing autonomously, without the participation of the control panel; formation of a time delay before activating the AUP; control of door and window opening via the "Doors-Windows" sensor; control of extinguishing agent discharge via "Mass" and "Pressure" sensors for gas fire extinguishing; control of output and input circuits for open and short circuit (light and sound alarms, AUP start outputs); different tactics for activating light, sound alarms, and AUP start outputs; LED indication of status, operating modes, and communication availability with the central device; self-monitoring and transmission of information about occurring events via ALC to the control panel; two independent power inputs; control of module housing tampering. The logic of the output circuits (OUT1-OUT5) is set by the user during configuration. The module has 2 statuses: master and slave. The slave is controlled by the master and is intended to increase the number of outputs for controlling fire extinguishing devices and alarms. Module power is supplied from an external power source. Addressable communication lines are galvanically isolated from the device power source by DC. The MPT-1-R3 fire extinguishing module can be installed on a DIN rail using a special mounting bracket. The MPT-1-R3 module is equipped with load connection devices (UPN) to ensure line monitoring for short circuit and open circuit. The UPN is a board with installed diodes, an input terminal block for connection to the line from the MPT relay, and an output terminal block for connection to the load (actuator). To ensure short circuit and open circuit monitoring, the UPN must be connected directly to the load (to the actuator) according to the connection diagram to Out5 - Out3 shown in the figure. If it is necessary to monitor the integrity of the load circuit, the connection is made according to the diagram connected to Out1 in the figure. Instead of the UPN, diodes can be used for circuit monitoring - Out2 in the diagram. To ensure the "Open Circuit" state when the output is energized, a current flow through the load of at least 25 mA must be provided. If the load device consumes less than 25 mA, a resistor is connected in parallel to increase the current consumption. The value of such a resistor must be calculated depending on the load connected to the output (its current consumption must be taken into account). Some extinguishing installations (AUP) connected to the MPT-1-R3 outputs have low resistance in the starting circuit, and a large current arises at the moment of their activation, which can lead to overload and shutdown of the MPT-1-R3 power supply. At the same time, the extinguishing installation may not have time to operate. To avoid this, it is necessary to install a current-limiting resistor in the AUP start circuit. The resistor value is calculated depending on the electrical parameters of the fire extinguishing system start.
