BE-1 bus expansion module is designed to connect remote I/O modules to the CPU expansion bus or to connect I/O modules to any PLC via the RS-485 interface using the Modbus RTU protocol. It serves as the starter module for remote segments of the OptiLogic L PLC I/O system and provides power to its segment via the internal bus.
The BE-1 bus expansion module supports "hot swap" mode, which allows for the replacement of a faulty device installed in the PLC lineup without disconnecting the entire lineup. The module is designed for continuous unmanned operation.
Operating temperature range – from -40°C to +55°C.
Embedded software is supplied as part of the equipment and is not sold separately.
