Lightning rods are designed to launch a streamer directed towards the leader of an atmospheric lightning discharge. Upon receiving the atmospheric static discharge, it transfers the potential through a conductor to the grounder. Installed with concrete bases or holders, or with concrete bases and a support with additional fastening on steel guy wires.
