FIT IT machinist hammer is used in locksmithing, carpentry, installation, and other works. The face is made of forged hardened tool steel grade 45 with a hardness of 50–58 HRC. A hardening depth of 4–5 mm for the face ensures high wear resistance. Black powder coating prevents corrosion. The wide ergonomic handle has an anti-slip rubber insert. A fiberglass core strengthens the handle construction. A strong connection of the head to the handle is ensured by polymer glue.
