• Designed for terminating 3-core cables: • with paper oil-impregnated insulation • with steel tape armor or without armor • with overall aluminum or lead sheath • for voltage 6 and 10 kV • Complies with GOST 34839-2022 requirements • Included in the Ministry of Industry and Trade register • Cable types for installation: AAbl, (A)SBl, (A)SBG, AAG, (A)SG, AABv, (A)SBShv, AASHv, (A)AShv, AAB2lShv, (A)SB2lShv • Main shrinkable elements of the sleeve: glove, core insulation tubes, end sleeves and core insulators are made of track-resistant brick-red material • The tube material is resistant to UV rays, ensuring operational reliability in all weather and climatic conditions • The sleeves are equipped with a system of core insulators that ensure the presence of guaranteed dry zones and increase the leakage current path length • The use of oil-resistant sealant with special properties ensures the sealing of the cable stripping root and contributes to the equalization of the electric field intensity • Thermoplastic adhesive applied to the inner surfaces of the belt sleeve, glove, and end sleeves ensures complete sealing of the sleeve after installation • Installation of the grounding unit is carried out by a combined method. The basic configuration includes a constant pressure spring used to fasten the grounding wire to the metal sheath. Fastening to armor tapes is carried out by soldering • When installing the grounding unit on a cable with armor made of steel or aluminum wires, it is necessary to additionally use the "KMPB Grounding Kit" corresponding to the selected sleeve • The constant pressure spring ensures fast and reliable installation of the grounding wire on the metal sheath. The use of the spring eliminates the possible risk of thermal damage to the paper insulation under the aluminum sheath in case of soldering using high-melting-point solder "A" • The sleeve kit is universal and allows the use of both crimp cable lugs and bolted lugs • Installation tools: PG (KVT) propane torch, NMB-6 (KVT) bolt head removal kit for lugs and connectors • All polymer compositions used for the production of KVT shrinkable components are halogen-free (HF=Halogen Free) • Manufactured according to TU 3599-006-97284872-2006
