Thick-walled sleeves with an internal layer of thermoplastic adhesive ensure reliable insulation and sealing of the cable conductor connection points • Filling the internal phase space with special mastic excludes the formation of air voids inside the sleeve and provides an additional sealing contour • The use of oil-resistant sealant with special properties ensures the sealing of the cable stripping root and contributes to the equalization of the electric field intensity • Installation of the jumper wire, connecting the sheaths and armor tape at both ends of the cable, is carried out by a combined method. The standard configuration includes constant pressure springs used for fastening the grounding wire to the metal sheaths. Fastening to the armor tape is carried out by soldering • When installing the grounding unit on a cable with armor made of steel or aluminum wires, it is necessary to additionally use the "KMPB grounding kit" corresponding to the selected sleeve. • The use of constant pressure springs for fastening the grounding wire to the metal sheaths of the connected cables ensures fast and reliable installation. The use of a spring eliminates the possible risk of thermal damage to the paper insulation under the aluminum sheath in case of soldering using high-melting-point solder "A" • The use of two protective heat-shrinkable sleeves — inner and outer, as well as phase sealant-filler, ensures complete sealing of the structure • The sleeve kit is universal and allows the use of both crimp sleeves and bolted connectors • Installation tools: propane torch PG (KVT), set for removing bolt heads of terminals and connectors NMB-6 (KVT) • All polymer compositions used for the production of KVT heat-shrinkable components are halogen-free (HF=Halogen Free) • Manufactured according to TU 3599-006-97284872-2006
