• Designed for butt-joint soldering of multi-strand copper wires • No flux required for installation • Insulation material: cross-linked polyethylene • Halogen-free • Insulation heat resistance: +125 °C • Maximum voltage: 690 V • Design features: • a low-temperature solder ring is located in the center of the connector • colored thermoplastic adhesive strips are integrated on the inner surface of the heat-shrink tube at the edges of the connector, ensuring a full seal of the connection after shrinking • Installation procedure: • place the connector on one of the wires, sliding it away from the pre-stripped wire ends • fray the individual conductors and join the wire ends in a butt joint with the conductors overlapping each other • crimp the protruding conductors by hand to form the joint • slide the connector to the contact point, positioning the solder ring in the center of the stripped wires being connected • using a butane torch or heat gun, evenly heat the solder from all sides until it melts • allow the product to cool
