Set No. 16 consists of heat-shrinkable tubes designed for restoring and creating insulation, sealing electrical wire connections, marking, as well as protection against corrosion, abrasion, dust, chemicals, and mechanical damage. As a result of heating, the tubes change their diameter, shrink, and take the shape of the object or material. The shrinkage ratio is 2:1. The products included in the set are made of environmentally safe, halogen-free materials. The tubes are flame-retardant: in the absence of an open flame, they extinguish and do not ignite. This provides additional safety in case of fire. The set includes tubes in the following colors: black, blue, red, white, yellow, green, yellow-green (7 colors, 3 pcs each). Diameter – 8 mm, length – 10 cm. Shrinkage work is performed using special electrical installation heat guns and REXANT gas torches.
