• PURPOSE Bolt cable terminal is designed for terminating aluminum and copper cable cores with paper oil-impregnated and XLPE insulation up to 35 kV. • SCOPE OF APPLICATION Bolt terminals can be used in various types of domestic and industrial cable terminations. • PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION Securing the terminal to the cable core is carried out by a breakaway head bolt, which twists off upon reaching a certain torque, ensuring a reliable connection. Products are equipped with aluminum bolts that ensure firm fixation of the core in the product housing. The bolt terminal blade is offset relative to the body. The offset allows for the installation of a heat-shrink tube for insulation.
