The fork terminal is designed for connecting electrical equipment. It allows disconnecting the connection without fully unscrewing the fastening connection, simply by loosening the screw fixation. The terminal is used for terminating multi-stranded copper wires when installing mobile electrical contact connections on rolling stock or in other places where connection reliability is important. Using the terminal accelerates electrical installation work and allows for repeated disconnection and connection of wires to equipment. The fork terminal is made of copper. Crimping is performed with special crimping pliers over a protective insulator (ht-301 H art. 12-3014, 12-3014-4; ht-301 N art. 12-3116; ht-301 W art. 12-3021, 12-3021-4).
