Ring insulated terminal is designed for connecting electrical equipment. Connection is made through a contact connection based on screw fixation.
The terminal is used for terminating multi-strand copper wires during the installation of mobile electrical contact connections on rolling stock or in other places where connection reliability is important.
Using the terminal accelerates electrical installation work and allows for repeated disconnection and connection of wires to the equipment.
The terminal consists of two components: a metal connector and a protective insulator.
The metal connector is made of copper with electrolytic tin plating. The terminal insulator is made of PVC.
Crimping is performed with special crimping pliers over the protective insulator (ht-301 H art. 12-3014, 12-3014-4; ht-301 N art. 12-3116; ht-301 W art. 12-3021, 12-3021-4).
