Insulated ring terminals NKI: designed for crimping multi-strand flexible copper conductors for electrical connections where screw-type fastening is provided. The use of NKI terminals protects conductors from mechanical damage by the fastening screw. NKI ring terminals are used to organize long-term connections to electrical equipment. Screw connections are less prone to loosening under vibration conditions. Design features: • The shape of the insulated sleeve is bell-shaped to facilitate the insertion of multi-wire copper conductors into the terminal. The junction between the bell and the sleeve is smooth, allowing the wire to enter the terminal without obstruction. • Transverse notches on the inner surface of the tube part of the terminals increase the mechanical strength of the connection with the conductor. • Each wire cross-section corresponds to a specific sleeve color: 0.2-1.5 mm2 – red, 1.0-2.5 mm2 – blue, 2.5-6.0 mm2 – yellow. • Sleeve material: L63 brass, electro-tinned. Sleeve material: PVC with additives, flame retardant, non-combustible.
