The fork insulated terminal is designed for connecting electrical equipment. It allows disconnecting the connection without fully unscrewing the fastening connection, simply by loosening the screw fixation. The terminal is used for terminating stranded copper wires when installing mobile electrical contact connections on rolling stock or in other places where connection reliability is important. The use of the terminal accelerates electrical installation work and allows for repeated disconnection and connection of wires to the equipment. The terminal consists of two components: a metal connector (fork) and a protective insulator covering the crimp area. The metal connector is made of copper with surface electrolytic tinning. The terminal insulator is made of PVC. Crimping is performed with special crimping pliers over the protective insulator (ht-301 H art. 12-3014, 12-3014-4; ht-301 N art. 12-3116; ht-301 W art. 12-3021, 12-3021-4).
