Insulated fork terminals NVI: designed for crimping multi-strand flexible copper conductors during the installation of electrical connections where screw fixation is provided. The use of NVI terminals protects conductors from mechanical damage caused by the fastening screw. NVI fork terminals are used when rapid or frequent reconnections are necessary, as installing the terminals does not require complete disassembly of the fastening connection; it is sufficient to loosen the screw fixation and insert the terminal. Design features: • The shape of the insulated sleeve is flared to facilitate the insertion of multi-wire copper conductors into the terminal. The junction between the flare and the sleeve is smooth, allowing the wire to enter the terminal without obstruction. • Transverse notches on the inner surface of the tubular part of the terminals increase the mechanical strength of the connection with the conductor. • Each wire cross-section corresponds to a specific sleeve color: 0.2-1.5 mm2 – red, 1.0-2.5 mm2 – blue, 2.5-6.0 mm2 – yellow. • Sleeve material: L63 brass, electrolytic tin-plated.
