They can be used to pump water in case of flooding of residential premises and basements. The pump motor is asynchronous, single-phase with a squirrel-cage rotor. The maximum suction depth is no more than 8 meters. The temperature of the liquid being pumped must be from +1°C to +35°C. Dry running (without water) and air entering the suction line is not allowed. A thermal protector protects the pump from overload, and shutdown occurs automatically. For temporary installation, flexible pipes are recommended; for permanent installation, rigid pipes are recommended. The difference between model ДН-1100 and ДН-1100Н is that the ДН-1100 housing is made of durable plastic. When using this model, a high level of water contamination is allowed; the maximum size of solid particles should not exceed 35 mm. The pump is equipped with an external float switch, which is adjusted to a specific level for turning the pump on and off. It is necessary to ensure that the switch turns off the pump at the minimum water level. Make sure that the water volume is within the max and min regulation range relative to the amount of water being pumped and does not require more than 20 starts per hour from the pump.
