REXANT shears are designed for right-hand cutting of metal up to 1.2 mm thick and stainless sheet steel up to 0.7 mm thick. The chromium-vanadium alloy used to manufacture the tool possesses properties such as strength, hardness, and wear resistance. During quenching, the alloy is less prone to deformation and loss of original shape than other types of tool steel. Nickel plating protects the shears from rust formation, thereby extending their service life. Shears are equipped with reinforced two-component handles that have a special shape and provide additional comfort during work. A locking mechanism is provided for convenient storage and transportation, which holds the cutting edges of the shears in the closed position.
