Type C sector shears are used for cutting conductors - cables and wires made of non-ferrous metals - soft copper (hardness ~45 MPa) or aluminum, single-core or multi-core. When cutting hard-drawn copper (hardness ~110 MPa), the conductor cross-section must be two segments smaller than the maximum allowable cross-section (approx: 240mm2 - 185mm2 - 150mm2). Product C-95 is designed for cutting cables with tape armor. Features: - Ratchet mechanism allows for cutting a bundle of wires. - Telescopic handles are extended by rotating them along the axis to unlock, extending them to the required length, and subsequent locking, in reverse order. - Presence of a shank (retainer) that holds the sector blade from displacement. - Presence of a movable foot in the lower part of the product provides the possibility to set the shears in a vertical position. The foot has two movable knees, as well as a hinge, allowing the shears to be set in different positions depending on the situation. The main advantage of sector shears is the ability to cut large diameter cables with minimal effort thanks to the ratchet mechanism.
