Q-SLOT patch panel, 6 slots (hereinafter referred to as the product) is designed for installing equipment of the Q-SLOT universal platform. The front panel features six technological slots for mounting Q-SLOT series equipment. The rear side of the panel provides 4 slots with rubber plugs/entries for cable entry into the panel at a 45-degree angle, as well as technological holes in the middle for the entry and fixation of armored cables. Inside the panel, on the sides and on the rear wall, there are holes for mounting an optical cable fixer and a fixer for the central strength member or cable reinforcing parts, such as aramid yarns or fiberglass. On the bottom of the shelf, on the side wall side, embossed pads are provided for fastening optical cables using cable ties or Velcro straps. On the outer sides of the panel, there are mounting points for brackets to install the panels into structures with 19'' guides. 4 bracket positions are provided depending on the installation depth of the panel. The front side features bolt mounting points for installing a removable front organizer with holes for cable ties and Velcro straps (depth 83 mm). Inside the panel, there are technological holes opposite each slot for fixing splice trays and auxiliary equipment. The panel is equipped with a cover and is supplied fully assembled. Slot plugs are supplied separately (item 38M-01-00BL). Patch panels are designed to organize a patch field with medium port density, corporate systems, backbone and horizontal subsystems, workgroup solutions, and network aggregation. Panels can be used as terminal equipment for terminated copper and optical solutions using appropriate terminal equipment. The panel design allows for optical cable splicing via fusion splicing with patch cords. Due to the design features of the panel, the patch panels are primarily intended for use as terminating equipment for backbone optical communication lines. The Q-SLOT series panel provides: • entry, placement, fastening, and storage of station and line fiber-optic cable reserves; • end termination, connection, and switching of line and station cables with optical fibers in public communication networks, technological communication networks, and special-purpose communication networks; • connection of testing and measuring equipment; • marking of line and station circuits.
