REXANT GOI polishing paste 30 g is designed for grinding and polishing steel alloys, non-ferrous metals, hard plastics and polymers, glass (including optical), ceramic materials and products made from them, thereby eliminating minor scratches and achieving an even shine on the polished surface. GOI paste (an abbreviation of the institution where it was developed — State Optical Institute) consists of chromium oxide (which gives it a green color) in the form of an abrasive powder, organic fatty binders, as well as auxiliary substances that make the additives more active and intense. It is a green colored block (unlike paste), which is applied either by pressing the block against a rotating polishing wheel or, if polishing manually, by rubbing it onto a polishing cloth.
