The patch cord is designed for connecting active and passive network equipment as part of a structured cabling system. It is required for connecting telecommunications equipment: computers, office PBXs, network switches, hubs, patch panels, routers, patch panels in telecommunications racks, network cards, as well as other equipment with RJ-45 connectors. F/UTP patch cord is equipped with an aluminum foil shield. The patch cord is a cord consisting of 4 pairs of insulated conductors twisted together, in a common insulation with RJ-45 type connectors. For convenience of switching, molded caps with lock protection are provided. 50 μm gold-plated contacts ensure at least 750 connection cycles. Conductor material – copper. The core insulation is made of polyethylene. The patch cord sheath is made of low-smoke halogen-free compound (LSZH).
