Gray F/UTP patch cord is designed for connecting active and passive network equipment within a structured cabling system. It allows connecting one electrical device to another. It belongs to Category 6: rated for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz. It consists of a cord of 4 pairs of insulated twisted conductors located in a common insulation. RJ45 (8P8C) connectors are located on both sides, through which various equipment is interconnected. Shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable with an outer sheath made of non-flammable halogen-free compound possesses low-smoke and low-corrosion properties and is easy to bend. The connectors are molded, ensuring reliable wire attachment in the connector. The connector contacts are plated with 3 μm technical gold, which contributes to improved signal throughput.
