Patch cords are widely used in any cabling system and are designed to connect communication lines with active network equipment, as well as to connect computers at workstations to patch panels. They ensure high connection reliability and allow for quick re-patching if necessary. Patch cords consist of a segment of multi-strand patch cable terminated with RJ45/8P8C type connectors. Cable wiring in patch cords is performed according to the T568B standard. The connector attachment point in NIKOMAX cords is protected by a molded cap, which significantly increases the service life of the patch cord. The caps are additionally equipped with latch protection. Each NIKOMAX Category 6 patch cord and above undergoes 100% testing on Fluke DTX testers during production. This guarantees not only their functionality but also full compliance with the strictest requirements, large margins for transmission characteristics, and reliable operation throughout the entire service life. Category 5e cords undergo sample testing.
