TERACOM patch cord is intended for switching and connecting various active equipment to the cabling system, connecting end-user equipment to information outlets, as well as for re-patching on cross-connect and patch panels. The patch cord is a segment of multi-core twisted pair cable, the ends of which are crimped with connectors, most often with RJ12 or RJ45 plug types. The use of multi-core cable for manufacturing TERACOM patch cords provides them with flexibility and resistance to repeated bending and twisting loads. TERACOM PRO and CS line patch cords are made of LSZH, PE, or PVC outer sheath, have increased gold plating thickness on contacts, an increased diameter of the copper conductor core, and are designed for more than 800 connection-disconnection cycles.
