Category 5E UTP monoblock patch panels feature IDC connectors on the rear side for cable installation. This type of panel is convenient to use during the initial construction stage, when the switch cabinet equipment is pre-planned and rack-mount equipment installation locations are determined. At this stage, installation is performed by mounting the panel in the cabinet, routing cable bundles, and subsequent cross-connection. After this, cable bundles are laid into the management compartments. Allowable copper conductor diameter is 23-24 AWG.
