PMS-IR infrared motion sensors are designed for controlling lighting, alarm devices, access control systems, and other electrical appliances. When moving objects appear within the sensor's detection zone, the relay automatically triggers, turning on the load. In the absence of movement, the relay turns off the load after a set period. The sensor design allows for adjusting the duty cycle duration (from a few seconds to a few minutes), the trigger threshold depending on the light level, and the sensor sensitivity threshold depending on the size and distance of the object. The operation of the infrared sensor is based on the analysis of thermal (infrared) radiation. A passive infrared (PIR) sensor does not emit any radiation itself, but only analyzes incoming thermal rays.
