REXANT R-400 pyrometer is a device designed for non-contact remote temperature measurement of various objects. The operating principle is based on measuring the level of thermal radiation of an object in the infrared radiation ranges. Pyrometers are used in housing and communal services, industry, enterprises, for household purposes, and everywhere where temperature control is of great importance. Devices of this type are necessary as safety tools and for controlling temperature norms in various technological and production sectors, as physical interaction with the object of measurement is not required, and there is a complete absence of the possibility of getting burns or other injuries related to high temperatures. Such devices are not suitable for measuring human body temperature; for this purpose, similar pyrometers with a narrow temperature sampling range (from 32 to 42 degrees) are used. R-400 is a gun-type device for remote temperature determination of objects, made of high-quality plastic. This pyrometer is compact and high-quality, easy to hold and operate with one hand. It is equipped with a power-saving backlit display, which allows measurements in low-light areas or at night. If not used for 7 seconds, it turns off automatically and starts instantly when the trigger is pressed. It features a laser sight, allowing for more accurate measurements of the specific objects or areas on an object that need to be checked. The control panel allows for selecting the temperature scale (Celsius, Fahrenheit) and includes buttons to turn the laser sight and backlight on/off. Calibration and testing of the devices are performed under the control of the SDS company.
