Hydraulic presses allow for the creation of cable conductor-to-sleeve or cable conductor-to-terminal mechanical connections using mechanical crimping. The presses are equipped with interchangeable dies designed for various conductor cross-sections. Hydraulic presses significantly facilitate the crimping process as they require less effort than mechanical presses. A set of interchangeable punches included in the kit and a built-in rotary die allow for wedge crimping, which is preferred when working with solid conductors and in cases where the internal diameter of the terminal shank exceeds the size of the cable conductor. The head rotates 180° around its axis, providing additional working convenience. A valve for forced pressure holding and release simplifies operation.
