POS-30 solder is intended for soldering and tinning sheet zinc, radiators, and parts made of copper, brass, and iron. It is a plastic soft rod made of an alloy of tin (30%) and lead (70%). Diameter – 8 mm, length – 400 mm. Manufactured in accordance with GOST 21931-76. Operating principle: when heated to a temperature of +256°C, the solder melts, wets the metal being soldered, spreads over the working surface, and fills the space between the connected parts. Possesses properties such as corrosion resistance and specific conductivity (for current-carrying elements). Melting temperature: solidus +183°C, liquidus +256°C. Soldering of metals: bronze, brass, copper, steel. Net weight: 5kg. Approximately 26-27 rods per package.
