Solder rod POS-40 (d8mm L400mm 195±10g) Rexant 09-3541

POS-40 solder is intended for soldering and tinning parts made of copper, brass, black metal, and galvanized iron, including hermetic seams. It is used in the assembly of electrical equipment. It is a ductile soft rod made of an alloy of tin (40%) and lead (60%). How the solder works: when heated to a certain temperature (183...238 °C), it melts, wets the metal being soldered, spreads over it, filling the space between the connected parts. POS-40 solder rod possesses properties such as corrosion resistance, creation of mechanical strength of the soldered joint, and specific conductivity (for current-carrying elements).
