REXANT Solder with rosin is a wire made of a tin and lead alloy. It is packed in a pencil-shaped tube with a clip on the body. It is used in soldering to connect parts and allows for the creation of a hermetic, mechanically strong joint. Upon heating to the melting temperature, the solder flows over the metal being soldered and fills the cavities between the connected elements. The active rosin flux in the composition further enhances the strength of the joint. It removes the oxide film from the surfaces being soldered and prevents its further appearance. The tube allows for controlled delivery of the solder and prevents residue formation.
